Tides of Change
Tides of Change
by M. Joseph Boehler
we stand on foundations laid by hands we never met, stones set in place by generations who whispered rule.
time's tide has reshaped the shoreline, and the old map no longer aligns with the horizon we now see.
even as the tide redraws the coast, a lone sunrise reminds us that the world issues no invoice, no rank. only the simple truth that worth is measured not in gold or titles, but in the vibration of one's actions within another's heart.
yet the monuments of yesterday, ideals once held sacred, have cracked under the weight of lived experience. their edges are jagged, their meanings frayed.
from those fissures fresh perspective emerges, daring us to rebuild, not on reverence alone, but on inquiry, compassion, and the willingness to let go of what no longer fits.
together, the dust and broken pieces ask us to look inward, to question inherited scaffolding, and to re-imagine a meaning that is earned, not inherited—where the future is built with humility and hope.
