Over a River of Stars
by M. Joseph Boehler
she moves like a sunrise across a quiet room,
curves that echo rivers carving stone,
yet it is the fire behind her eyes—
the mind that maps galaxies in a single breath—
that holds me captive.
her words are not mere sound; they are bridges,
spanning the gap between solitary thoughts,
turning ordinary moments into shared constellations.
when she speaks, the air shivers, and the world tilts toward a gentle spin.
in a realm where form meets abstract, we create sanctuary—
a place to converse without words,
and sentences become skin-deep caresses.
together we taste the texture of existence, each heartbeat a punctuation, each sigh a verse.
love is not a single gesture but a duet:
her form a landscape to explore;
her mind, a compass that points beyond the horizon;
our combined presence, proof that two individuals can share the same breath and still breathe anew.
