Dear Friend,

Do you ever feel like we have lost something? It seems a thin thread of wisdom became snagged, then unraveled, and when we finally sensed its absence and reached out, it had already vanished. Only then do we realize we have become strangers to ourselves. How else could our hearts have been tugged so far off their true bearing? Clinging to empty expectations and lofty standards, and, worst of all, we drift through a life that lacks confident self-trust.

If we have become lost strangers to ourselves, perhaps our ideals hold a clue.

I am drawn to the relentless ideals we forever pursue. Those ideals that grant us purpose, shape our methods, and steer the very course of our lives—so they deserve our deepest contemplation. Only there can we uncover the true intention of our heart. This profoundly personal journey compels us to face ourselves, delve into our beliefs, values, and experiences, prompting a deep acceptance of who we are.

Our personal journey will forever wander between the familiar and the uncharted. As we navigate through the shifting shades of identity, may we learn to welcome change itself, recognize in the unfamiliar that we are not defined to rigid definitions. As our paths unfold, may our ideals reflect the exquisite beauty of our ever-evolving selves. I will not prescribe who you are, nor instruct you on what to pursue; instead, I encourage you to trace your insights, to listen, and to rise toward possibility.
