Grains of the Ember
by M. Joseph Boehler
we, humanity, chase a trembling ember,
lost in clouds of chaos,
slowly falling again, into synchronicity.
our awareness, a minute grain of sand,
that eventually falls with everything else,
settling into place.
—
Author's Note: The ember in this poem represents the spark of curiosity, driving humanity forward, while the grain of sand reminds us of our modest place within the vast currents of existence.
—
To leave traces that might meet another's path.
